From founders building companies from scratch to investors backing the next wave, operators keeping businesses running, and the community builders creating the infrastructure that makes it all possible.
Sifted are spotlighting 100 women doing the work across Europe's tech ecosystem.
Why this matters
Female-founded companies receive just 12% of venture funding. Women account for between 5% and 15% of angel and VC investors. Those numbers haven't moved fast enough. This list is our attempt to change that — by making sure the women who deserve recognition get it.
Who we're looking for
Nominations are open to women based in or working within Europe's tech ecosystem. We're looking for rising stars whether they're founders, investors, operators, or ecosystem builders.
How we compile the list
Nominations are reviewed by an independent committee of industry experts, who assess each submission on the basis of their achievements, impact, and contrbution.
